The most important objectives of the Moroccan Association for the care of Orphans are to alleviate the suffering of the needy, especially orphans, widows and the elderly, and to extend a helping hand to them, as well as working to raise awareness of the need for social solidarity and ways to rationalize it
The Moubadara Foundation for Youth and Entrepreneurship is the fruit of a long-term experience initiated by the Movement of Young Entrepreneurs of Morocco more than 20 years ago. It was established as a result of the successes recorded during the various editions of the Moubadara Entrepreneurs Salon organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Recognized as being of public utility, the OCP Foundation participates in the dissemination of knowledge by being a committed player in the transmission of a better world to future generations. Its actions revolve around several fields, such as: Education, Training and Research & Development. The OCP Foundation was created to carry the social and societal commitment of OCP Group. Thus, the OCP Foundation is committed and deploys its programs, by adopting a participative approach, with public and private partners, in Morocco and in several countries of the South.
Phosboucraa Foundation was established in 2014, in Laayoune, as the primary driver of corporate social responsibility across the Southern regions of Morocco for Phosboucraa SA and its parent company, OCP. Phosboucraa S.A is a key actor in the socioeconomic development of the region investing both in industry and in the well being of communities.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Morocco (AmCham Morocco) is a non-profit, non-government organization which represents American and Moroccan businesses and individuals. AmCham Morocco was established in 1966 by a group of Moroccan and American businesses under the auspices of the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. AmCham membership totals 300 members, of which 55% are Moroccan, 40% American, and 5% other nationalities. Members support AmCham operations through annual dues. The Chamber receives no governmental, outside financial support, or subsidies.
The Chamber is governed by an elected Board, comprised of the presidents of leading U.S. companies established in Morocco and of Moroccan companies doing business with the U.S. The Chamber’s annual workload is accomplished through three standing committees with different focuses: Trade and Investment, U.S.-Morocco Business Concerns, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
